9 Reasons To Hula- Hoop (for fun and your health, too)
Hula hooping has proven to come back as an evolved mode of movement, expression, and celebration of life. During the almost 4-year hooping journey, I have cultivated the following reasons why the hoop is simply excellent for body, mind, and soul.
1. Can improve focus and patience
2. Releases endorphins improving mood and health
3. Can help improve balance and overall rhythm
4. Creates an awareness of whats around and within us
5. Strengthens and tones core and muscles used during hooping. (even your pinky finger gets a work-out)
6. Improves spinal health and flexibility when done effectively
7. Can burn calories and fat
8. Stimulates appetite. As with any cardiovascular workout, we use calories, therefore needing to replenish ourselves with more afterwards
9. Hooping is low impact. The risk of injury is low while the risk of a good time is very high!
